Invitation party
Alisa, Kyra, Brielle and my friend Meghan (not shown) helped me stuff and stamp wedding invitations. I bribed them in margaritas and wine. Thanks ladies!
Up the Alyeska tram
We took the Alyeska tram to the top of the mountain for a look around Saturday afternoon. Last time we rode it, it was summer and there were about eight of us on the tram. This time we were nestled in with 57 of our new best friends and their ski equipment.
Springtime drive
Kyra came to Anchorage this weekend to help me with wedding plans. We took a drive Saturday to show her a little more Alaska. This is at Beluga Point on the Turnagain Arm.

First day of spring break
Snow blows and cars swish through 7 inches of fresh snow Monday -- the first day of spring break here. I took this while waiting at the intersection of Fireweed and A streets on the way home from an early morning trip to the gym.
A young photographer in the making
Davin went out to watch the Iditarod dog teams run past the apartment with my camera. These photos are all his. He turns 10 in May. Showing them to me after the shoot, he said "I like this one because the dog's tongue is hanging out."
I like the photographer poking into the right side of the frame here.
