I stood on my balcony and watched moose feast on the landscaping instead of eating breakfast this morning. The mama moose reaches high tree branches leaving the low foliage to her nearby youngster.
Baby moose came right up and nibbled on the shrubs next to my balcony. The mother stays close in the background. If I wasn't safely on my balcony I would never get so close to a baby moose.

A visitor
The kitties realize they aren't the only ones in the neighborhood. They were very opinionated on the matter.
49 degrees and ????
It was super warm on Saturday so we took a walk to the park. The roads and sidewalks were bone dry, so we were foolishly taken aback by the trail and park conditions. Davin didn't mind.
Neither did these cyclists.
LESSONS OF THE DAY:
1. Van's and their canvas-topped goodness are not the best in snow and slush.
2. It's best not to test the ice sealing a puddle on a warm day.

Happy Easter!
The Easter bunny visited our house over the weekend. Davin had lots of candy and a few new toys and spring clothes to show for it.
